This afternoon I took the girls to the Rosy Mound Natural Area in Grand Haven. The trails are well marked and the weather was perfect. We hiked over 2 miles and climbed up and down tons of stairs. Leah ran pretty much the whole way. She approached one of the lookout points before us and could see the boardwalk below. I heard her call out, "Wow! It looks like the Great Wall of China!" Elizabeth did quite a bit of jogging too. My favorite comment from her was when she told me her heart was "beeping". It was great exercise and the scenery was beautiful.
