Would you like to help a child in need?

It seems like every year around the holiday season our mailbox becomes filled with letters from organizations asking for donations. Most of the time Tim and I end up trashing them, many times before reading the letters carefully. One recent letter however caught Tim's attention. He shared a card with me from the University of Michigan's Children's Hospital asking for help with young patients. Immediately both of us knew that we had to help. Our gift of $25 will buy a bear for a sick child as well as benefit the hospital's Family Hope Fund and pediatric research. Tim and I are so thankful for the knowledge and experience that the doctors at U of M have. We are grateful for the quick and appropriate treatment that Leah received for her JRA and she now is in remission. It is our hope that this small donation will allow other children to experience the same success!
