Leah spent the last 6 days at a camp in the northern woods of Wisconsin called HoneyRock. While she was excited to go, she was also quite nervous. Days before her departure she had lots of questions and energy. She was dropped off Monday morning at Wheaton College to get on a large bus driven by a very old man full of strangers in a thunderstorm. That wasn't quite the start I had hoped she would get, but she was able to find a bus buddy and only cried for the first five minutes of the 7 hour ride. Unfortunately the weather remained rainy and chilly for most of the week. However, she was still able to experience all the fun that goes along with camp life. According to her counselors Leah was the life of the cabin, the confident risk-taker, and encouraging cabin mate. It was a week of exploring the great outdoors, learning to trust God, and serving others.

Julie wanted to txt you and say she just saw pics of YOU at camp, and teasingly say, oh right, that was Leah! It's a little scary how much she looks like you :)
